WASHINGTON FAMILY ENGAGEMENT’S STATEWIDE PARENT LEADERS’ NETWORK

ParentNet® is our civic action coalition, made up of more than 850 graduates of the Washington Institute for Parent Leadership. Its members include rural and urban parents and caregivers who are leading meaningful change in their schools and communities. They advance shared goals, contribute to local and national advocacy efforts and use their voices to improve Washington systems and public policies.

County Roundtable conversations

Although ParentNet® includes parent leaders from across Washington, the network is strongest in King, Pierce, Skagit, Snohomish, Whatcom, and Yakima counties. ParentNet hosts county-specific Roundtable conversations where families discuss local issues and brainstorm effective civic engagement actions. 34 new parent leaders from all corners of Washington State graduated this May from the Spring 2026 English and Spanish Institutes for Parent Leadership. They come from the cities of: Auburn, Bellingham, Bonney Lake, Bothell, Bremerton, Brier, Burien, Eatonville, Edmonds, Ellensburg, Everett, Issaquah, Kent, Kettle Falls, Lynnwood, Monroe, Puyallup, Pullman, Quincy, Sammamish, SeaTac, Seattle, Snoqualmie, Sultan, Tacoma and Yakima.
